The Snow Queen

A psycho-sexual adaptation of the famous Hans Christian Anderson tale.  Lots of colorful characters and situations with a nuanced and dynamic score to match.  Making sure each scene revealed something while moving quickly and clearly was a great challenge!

synopsis: After Gerta rejects Kai's youthful advances, he is seduced and abducted by the Snow Queen.  Gerta goes in pursuit and learns many things about the adult world before reuniting and reconnecting with Kai.
